I don’t know why I bother showing up to gym class. No one ever wants to pick me for their team, and I don’t blame them. It’s embarrassing being ‘that kid who is always picked last for sport’. If I did a no show, it would be less awkward for the unfortunate team captain who gets stuck with me. They always make a show and dance about it being nothing personal and all, but I know no one wants me on their team. I know they don’t dislike me, only my sporting capabilities. Spelling test in teams – I’m getting picked first. Dodgeball? Not so much.
