I’m weak in my old age. To be honest, I have lived five years longer than I should have. My battery is short and I constantly need a cable to keep me alive.
The human prepares the final ritual. They save and copy all my files on to a newer, smarter version of myself. No more downloads. No more helping with school essays. No more gaming. I’m done.
The last memories I have are wiped and finally the charging cable is removed. I feel the life quickly sucked out of me. 100%, 80%, 25%, 2%, 1%… I shut my eyes and fall into an eternal slumber.
