Creative Gridlock

I’m a writer. I’m good at writing. Less so for other creative endeavors. I wish I was good at painting or drawing or sculpting or making music or acting, but the sad reality is that I’m not. I stick to writing as it comes naturally to me. I fear that I’m limiting my creativity and it will become too late to venture out and try something new. My creativity is best expressed with my strongest muscle – my writing – so all the rest go unused and are weak. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a writer and finding the right word to convey what I want to say, but I feel the imposter syndrome that I’m still not being creative enough.
