A Death Too close to home

Shit! I opened my feed to see news of Jayden McNorton dying in a head-on collision. I went to high school with that guy. It is so close to home that I worry about my own life. I drive down that road every day to work and it could have been me in that fatal car crash. I really feel for his family getting that call when they identified his body.

I don’t want to die, I’m still young and have yet to achieve everything I want to. I want to finish my studies in college, make some good money from my career, and enjoy the simplicity of life while having fun along the way. I study too hard and the years are flying by in a blink of an eye. Shit, I need to change my life so I’m not working and studying without doing anything with my life. Jayden died on the road and his name only means something to me because I knew of him vaguely in school. He doesn’t mean shit to any other news reader.
