Wine Glass Monologue

The red liquid is poured into my body, and now it’s my time to shine. I sway from side-to-side, thanks to the person holding me who gently tips the glass. I have so much to tell you, so buckle in for a ride.

My goal in life is simple. I am to bring pleasure and joy to those who sip upon my greatness. I am too strong for children to indulge my excellence, but adults love me. The thing about me is that I have a superiority complex, and I hold firm on the belief that only the exclusive few should taste my glory. I want to be the snobbish beverage of choice that people spin around to get attention. I am the grapes that people love, my colouring is gorgeous. What more could anyone want from me? I am the pride and joy of the world. Honour me the way I deserve to be.

Oh no, the person is finally drawing the glass to their lips! Well, that was a short lifespan.
