She didn’t know what was about to take place, but I knew. I had known it all along. I have seen this story play thousands of times and they all end the same. This little girl is going to be bullied in school and it leaves her to face the world on her own. She will not trust anyone she comes across and be secluded. That’s how her life takes place and she’ll die a miserable old woman. I’ve seen the choices this girl in particular has made over and over. She has lived this life repeatedly and it always ends the same, without failure. A less tragic story for her would be a natural disaster destroying her home, or a death in the family, or perhaps a wolf in the woods. The fairy tale creatures have it pretty easy in comparison to this one. Even though I already know the ending, I can’t help but come back to watch her live over and over. It is so tragic that it’s a good cry, or a perspective shift for the other humans I watch over how easy they’ve got it. Her not-so-happily-ever-after makes me feel more alive. I love watching her downfall and the trainwreck of the horrid nature of the world. I can’t turn my head away! The greatest form of reality television one can get while overlooking the human population. This girl often gets used in training material with the other gods to not make these mistakes with the rest. She becomes a research experiment to give other humans opportunities to redeem themselves where the girl didn’t.
