The Main Character

My teachers tell me every day that I need to concentrate in class. My parents yell at me for not listening to them as I’m not making eye contact. Then when it comes to sitting down and doing my homework, I yell at myself in my head to sit still and just do the work. I can’t focus and my brain would rather do anything else but what I need to; the task at hand, regardless of what I need to do. Even hobbies are difficult for me to concentrate on and I forget all about it after three weeks.
