Wishing Into the Crystal Ball

A crystal ball in my possession. And it tells nothing but truths. This is a lot of power and I have it clasped in my palms.

‘What to ask, what to ask?’ I repeat aloud to myself before turning my attention to the crystal ball more prominently than before. The truth about anything I want to know the answer to.

I could ask if my ex cheated or ask if people from high school despised me. But I’ve moved on. I shouldn’t care about those people anymore. I do and my heart still aches from the pain. I wish things were different, but I should wish too heavily in the presence of this crystal ball.
