Dodging Strangers

I dodge, knowing well that it would be the end of me if I don’t move faster than my enemy. Luckily for me, he needs to recharge his laser shooter. I have more time to sprint for the horizon, or the next pyramid, whatever comes first.

I thought I was the only one who lived here, why the fuck is he here and how long has he been here?

Whatever the reason is, he wants me dead and sooner rather than later. He isn’t from around here, clearly as I thought I was alone. He wears a thing over his head and has a back thing on which provides an oxygen supply.

Maybe I am asking the wrong questions. Like how did he get here?

The questions can wait until later! My survival is a bigger current issue than inquiring into this being’s purpose.

I know my way around this planet, so I might have a larger advantage over this stranger who pursues me. I still don’t want to risk my chances though.
